Enter Your Best Work for National Press Club Award

See how the best of your journalism measures up against some of the best in the business.

Entries for the National Press Club annual journalism awards are being accepted through April 1 with print, online and broadcast reports eligible. The contest also offers an opening for some of the best non-traditional journalism to compete.

Awards are given for consumer reporting, Washington regional reporting, press criticism, newsletter reporting, online journalism, political journalism, writing on geriatric issues, humor writing, animal reporting, aerospace and defense reporting, travel writing and political analysis.

Club members can enter for free. Non-members will be charged a $35 fee.

Entries should demonstrate their usefulness for readers, thorough reporting, excellent storytelling and superb writing style.

Last year' winners included journalists from The Wall Street Journal, The Miami Herald, The Salt Lake Tribune, The Seattle Times, the Chicago Tribune, PBS' Frontline and KLAS-TV in Las Vegas.

Winners are recognized at a dinner at the Club.
