Dorie Greenspan’s New Cookbook to launch at Fourth Estate Friday, Oct. 28
Renowned cookbook author, Dorie Greenspan (“At My French Table,”” Baking Chez Moi”) is publishing her new cookie-centric cookbook, “Dorie’s Cookies,” the last week of October. The Fourth Estate is throwing a launch party/wine dinner on Friday, Oct. 28, 2016, hors d’oeuvres starting at 6:30 p.m.; dinner at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $80 per person, $155 per couple, with a 15% discount for members. A copy of the book (one per couple) is included in the price. Register here.
The five courses will have a French focus: recipes for hors d’oeuvres, bread basket and dessert will be from her new book; the salad, fish course and entrée are taken from “At My French Table.” There will be French wines paired with each course. Some of the dishes include skate with capers and cornichons; veal chop with braised endive, apples and grapes on the side; fried potato crackers with smoked salmon; and dessert cookies with intriguing names such as World Peace Cookies and Good, Better Best cookies.
