Dennis Quaid Features Club in Film "Chasing Zero"

Dennis Quaid's April 12 National Press Club address on preventing dangerous medical errors is featured in the actor's new documentary, "Chasing Zero: Winning the War on Healthcare Harm.”

Quaid, a patients' rights advocate, launched the film project as a result of the near-fatal Heparin overdose of his newborn twins in 2007.

The film is scheduled to be nationally televised on The Discovery Channel on Saturday, May 1, as the first in ongoing patient health care series.

"Chasing Zero," slated to premier globally at a global patient safety summit in Nice, France, last week, premiered online after the summit was disrupted by airport delays caused by Iceland's volcanic eruption.
