The CMA Foundation is joining the National Association for Music Education's annual fly-in, which brings artists and other music industry participants to Washington to meet with lawmakers to reinforce the importance of music education following the passage of the federal education law Every Student Succeeds Act.

Since 2006, CMA and the CMA Foundation have donated more than $13.6 million to music education initiatives across the country, benefiting 30 programs held during and after school.

Supported by contributions from the country music community, the CMA Foundation focuses on improving and sustaining music education programs and other causes important to the Country Music Association. Donations are made on behalf of the artists who perform each year, for free, during the CMA Music Festival.
