Club co-sponsors “Women in Media’ with D.C. mayor’s office, March 28

Join National Press Club members Eleanor Clift, Marilyn Geewax, and Michele Salcedo as they participate in a panel “Conversations with women who lead: Women in Media” coordinated with the Mayor’s Office on Women’s Policy and Initiatives at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 28, in the ballroom.

Salcedo, the Club’s membership secretary and a desk editor at the Associated Press, will moderate the panel with Geewax, a former member of the Club’s board of governors and a business editor at NPR, and Clift, now a writer at the Daily Beast. Helena Andrews, co-editor of "The Reliable Source" at The Washington Post will also be on the panel, which will follow a keynote by Symone D. Sanders, former national press secretary, Bernie Sanders Campaign and CNN political commentator and strategist.
