Chair of U.S. House Committee on Cybersecurity to keynote January 11 training for journalists

U.S. Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas), chair of the House Committee on Cybersecurity, has been added as the keynote luncheon guest for the Cybersecurity Institute for Journalists training on Wed., Jan. 11, at the National Press Club.

The workshop, produced by University of Maryland University College (UMUC) and the Christian Science Monitor, will provide reporters with a practical understanding of cybersecurity terminology, demonstrations of hacking and a deeper perspective for reporting on cybersecurity as it relates to cybercrime, critical infrastructure, cyber warfare and national security.
