November 16, 2009 | By Darlene Shields, Photography Committee chairwoman |

Patrick Greenlee and Zack Brown, representatives of Shutterstock, a photo agency, will speak to the Photography Committee at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, in the McClendon Room.

Greenlee and Brown will talk about buying and selling images. Shutterstock, headquartered in NYC, is the largest subscription-based stock photo agency in the world. It was launched in 2003, and its library now has more than 8 million images, including video footage. Shutterstock's services are used daily by graphic designers, publishers, photo editors, web designers, TV & film producers, and others.
This meeting should be of interest to NPC members who want to learn more about the business side of photography.

The meeting is open to all NPC members. No reservations are required. However, the McClendon Room has limited capacity, so please arrive early.
