Book Rap: Washingtonian Editor Graff on FBI and Terrorism; March 28

Washingtonian Editor-in-Chief Garrett M. Graff will tell the story of his new book, The Threat Matrix: The FBI at War in the Age of Global Terror at a National Press Club Book Rap Monday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the Conference Rooms.

The 28-year-old Graff has spent more time traveling with FBI Director Robert Mueller than any other journalist and this unprecedented access is the basis of his book, which explores the story of a small group of FBI agents who believed that they could confront a new generation of international terrorists without sacrificing America’s moral high-ground. In his book, Graff writes that this view was not always shared by the CIA.

Make plans now to come hear Graff talk about his new book by making reservations at [email protected] or 202-662-7523. There is a $5 charge for non-members.

Since NPC Book Raps are fundraisers for the Eric Friedheim National Journalism Library no outside books or memorabilia are allowed. Graff will sign books sold at the event, with the proceeds going to the Library.
