Book Fair & Author Night set for Nov. 15

Mark your calendars. The National Press Club’s 34th annual Book Fair & Authors Night will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15.

From this year’s Fourth Estate Award winner, Jim Lehrer, to Harold Holzer to Roy Peter Clark, authors who have written biographies, political analyses, cook books, children’s books, novels and cutting-edge non-fiction are beginning to reserve their places.

The event will raise money for the Eric Freidheim National Journalism Library’s professional training programs, college scholarships and awards for journalistic excellence.

And, once again, the Library is partnering with the Seed Foundation, which helps prepare underserved students for college and high-performing public boarding schools in the District and Maryland.

If you would like to apply to the book fair committee to join the authors at this year’s event, you can find a form at http://press.org/library/book-fair/application

See you in November!
