Bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs to speak at Luncheon, Dec. 19

Ricky Skaggs , 14-time Grammy winner, will share memories from his 50-year career at a National Press Club luncheon on Thursday, Dec. 19. Skaggs has been playing the mandolin since he was five-years-old and has risen to the heights of country music stardom, while remembering his bluegrass roots.

Skaggs is traveling to Washington to perform at the Interfaith Holiday Gala Benefit for the Wounded Warriors on Friday, Dec. 20.

Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m., with remarks beginning at 1 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session ending at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $21 for Press Club members (NPC Members may purchase 2 tickets at this rate) and $35 for all other non-member tickets. Members who wish to attend the pre-luncheon reception must RSVP separately to [email protected] 48 hours before the event. Space may be limited. You must have a paid reservation to the Luncheon to attend the VIP reception.
