Beat the deadline DEADLINES approaching for Sept. 7 race

We are only 3 weeks away from the 16th Annual National Press Club BEAT THE DEADLINE 5K on Saturday, Sept. 7.

The early bird registration deadline has been extended to Aug. 20. After that, the registration rate for runners goes up to $35, and will be $40 on race day.

If you want to spend a relaxing weekend at Hotel Monaco before the race, runners have until Aug. 23 to make reservations. Hotel Monaco, only blocks away from the NPC, is offering a special rate of $169 for a Friday or Saturday night stay to all BEAT THE DEADLINE registrants until Aug. 23. BEAT THE DEADLINE runners are also eligible to win a complimentary stay at Hotel Monaco as one of many race-day giveaways. This and other awesome door prizes will be available during the awards ceremony.
