In his new thriller, the author slips into the minds of the mad and the messianic to illustrate how an apocalyptic nightmare could become tomorrow's history-bending reality.

Among the questions he explores: What if al-Qaeda covertly obtains a rogue nuclear warhead with the intention of deploying it on the tenth anniversary of 9/11?

Patterson is the author of 18 best-selling and critically acclaimed novels. Formerly a trial lawyer, he was the Securities and Exchange Commission liaison to the Watergate special prosecutor and has served on the boards of several Washington advocacy groups.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing for $26.00 Proceeds benefit the Eric Friedheim National Journalism Library. No outside books will be permitted.
