Attention crustacean aficionados: Next Lobster Night at Fourth Estate is March 28

It's spring! The National Press Club's Fourth Estate restaurant will celebrate its arrival by holding its first Lobster Night of the season next Wednesday, March 28.

Members pay $25, non-members $30 for a fresh 1 ¼ pound Maine lobster with coleslaw and choice of French fries or oven crisped new potatoes. Reservations are requested 24 hours in advance to a assure a crustacean; phone: (202)662-7638. A few lobsters will be available for those without a reservation.

For non-lobster lovers, the restaurant's regular Fourth Estate menu will be available. It features grilled chicken with cashews, hanger steak with blue cheese or curried shrimp. Desserts range from chocolately tiramisu to the ever-popular chocolate and raspberry mousse. The Fourth Estate also serves locally made Moorenko ice creams and sorbet — both made in Silver Spring, Md. Current flavors include lime, coconut or lychee sorbet and salted caramel praline ice cream, as well as cherry ice cream with chocolate chips and pine nuts -- just in time to celebrate the cherry blossoms.
