Arts Program Registration Due Oct. 30

Registration to enter artwork in the National Arts Program's 2009 program is due Oct. 30 by the close of business.

Club members and employees and their families are eligible to participate. Prizes will be awarded for the three adult classifications of amateur, intermediate and professional as well as the two youth/teen classifications of under 12 and 13-18. The cash prizes for each adult classification range from $300 to $100, and from $75 to $25 in the youth/teen categories.

Entries are due Friday, Nov. 6, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. or Saturday, Nov. 7, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The program is sponsored by the Events Committee.

The exhibit will be displayed in the lobby Nov. 9 to 20. Applications can be picked up at the front desk, at the Reliable Source, or online by visiting the online calendar on the date Nov. 9 at

Rules are on the application or at Completed applications can be hand delivered to the front desk at the Club or mailed using the integrated mailer on the application.

The program was brought to the Club in 2007 by Silver Owl and founder of the National Arts Program Leonard Andrews. Andrews died in 2008.
