Web 2.0 Tools Del.icio.us. Flickr. Wiki. Chrome, Meebo, Firefox Plugins, iCal, YouTube, Skype, Digg... Gibberish? Or potentially useful tools? In "Web 2.0 Tools" we'll discuss what these resources are and how they can be used in your everyday work to help you manage everything from the news you read to the way you contact people. The class will last one hour. There is a class fee of $20 for NPC members and $30 for nonmembers. The fee can be paid by credit card, check, or member account. Register online at http://bit.ly/6f1yyA or by contacting Beth Shankle at [email protected] or 202-662-7509. Participants are welcome to bring their own laptops, but computers will also be provided. Special thanks to the Ethics and Excellence in Journalism Foundation for their generous support of the Eric Friedhiem National Journalism Library's computer-based training programs.
