Description: Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Oct. 15-30, 2008.

This Southeast Asia trip includes visits to Chiang Mai, sightseeing and night markets, and a Mekong River Cruise through Thailand's Golden Triangle where three countries -- Thailand, Burma, and Laos -- merge. You'll visit Luang Prabang, Laos, a magical village where Buddhism is taught in its many temples, then fly to Hanoi, Vietnam's capital. You then entrain to Sapa, a unique ethnic tribal village to enjoy a traditional catfish dinner and magical sightseeing. Returning to Hanoi by rail, you cruise on the gorgeous Ha Long Bay before flying home. A post-trip extension is available for Danang/Hoi An, with a stay at China Beach.
