Reliable Source Jazz Night and Summer BBQ Buffet

National Press Club members and their guests are invited to attend a Summer BBQ Buffet at 6:30 p.m. July 24 in the Reliable Source.

The event will feature the return of the Greater U Street Jazz Collective, a group that performed at the Reliable Source Jazz Night earlier this month. They are back by popular demand of Club members and will perform in the Truman Lounge during the BBQ.

The price of the buffet is $25 for Club Members and $35 for non-members.

The evening's menu is listed below. Domestic and imported beers and Club red and white wine are available to complement your dinner.

Soup:
Corn Chowder

Salads:
Red potato salad with lemon mayonnaise
Green Beans with Feta, mint, peaches and red onions
Red cabbage and apples buttermilk coleslaw
Cucumber and fresh pea salad with olive oil, vinegar and black pepper

Entrées:
Slow roasted Texas beef brisket, sliced to order; sweet and spicy sauce; rolls & cheese on side
Grilled chicken adobo
Alaskan wild salmon kebobs
Balsamic marinated grilled farm fresh summer vegetables

Sides:
Corn on the cob with choice of compound butters on the side
Southern style macaroni and cheese
Texas style baked pinto beans

Dessert:
Rice Crispie treats
Banana pudding parfaits
Red, white and blue cupcakes
