NPC Luncheon with Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, Mayor of Baltimore

Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake will discuss the U.S. Conference of Mayors' Baltimore Compact -- an agenda that mayors want to put before the 2016 presidential candidates -- at a National Press Club luncheon Oct. 7.

Rawlings-Blake, whose city was hit by riots following the death of Freddie Gray in April, will appear shortly after the conference's leadership meeting, at which time they will develop the agenda.

The city on Tuesday announced a $6.4 million civil settlement with Gray's family.

Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m., with remarks beginning at 1 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session ending at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $23 for Press Club members (members may purchase 2 tickets at this rate) and $37 for non-members. Tickets may be purchased online.
