NPC Luncheon with Gary R. Herbert, Governor, Utah

Utah Gov. Gary R. Herbert, newly-appointed chairman of the National Governors Association, will lay out his 2015-16 Chair’s Initiative, “States: Finding Solutions, Improving Lives,” at a National Press Club Luncheon on Fri., Oct. 2.

Innovative solutions to today’s challenges are happening every day at the state level, and Gov. Herbert’s initiative is designed to highlight governors’ solutions to today’s most pressing problems, enhance a more collaborative state-federal partnership, and share best practices.



Herbert has been Utah's governor since 2009.



Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m., with remarks beginning at 1 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session ending at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $23 for Press Club members (NPC Members may purchase two tickets at this rate) and $37 for all other non-member tickets.

NPC Members who wish to attend the pre-luncheon reception must RSVP separately to [email protected] 48 hours before the event. Space may be limited. You must have a paid reservation to the luncheon to attend the VIP reception.
