Multimedia Journalism Fundamentals: It’s Not Just Point and Shoot!

Veteran broadcast journalists Tom Hendrick and Larry Quinn will offer practical tips for producing quality video and audio, whether you’re using an iPhone or more sophisticated video equipment. The session is intended for print journalists, as well as young reporters who may not have had formal training.

Registration is $5 for NPC members; $10 public. Members should login for the promo code.

The session will focus on the basics of good photo, audio and video gathering. Topics covered will include: verbal and visual storytelling, audio and video recording/editing, plus how to integrate multimedia into text-based reportage.
