FT Cyber Security Summit USA: Is America Losing the Cyber War?
Recent large scale cyber attacks and international security breaches have clearly illustrated how hackers and other malfeasant actors are building stronger weapons for their arsenal. As hackers become more sophisticated, their ability to identify and exploit new classes of vulnerabilities results in widespread disruption of business and breeds new national security concerns. How the new administration will respond over the coming months remains unknown. However, one thing is for certain - something needs to be done.
Taking place on Wednesday, March 15 at the National Press Club, the FT Cyber Security Summit USA will bring together top security experts from both the public and private sector to explore the cyber threats facing America and how today’s leaders are addressing them to keep us safe.
• Dmitri Alperovitch, Co-Founder and CTO, CrowdStrike
• Jamil Farshchi, Chief Information Security Officer, The Home Depot
• Jeanette Manfra, Senior Counselor to the Secretary, US Department of Homeland Security
• William Saito, Special Adviser, Prime Minister, Government of Japan
