EGYPTIAN AMERICANS CONDEMN THE KILLING OF PROTESTERS IN EGYPT Egyptian-Americans to Hold News Conference and Rally in Washington, DC in Support of Democracy in Egypt (Washington, D.C., August 8, 2013) – On Friday, August 9 and Saturday, August 10, Egyptian-Americans for Democracy and Human Rights (EADHR), in coalition with a number of other American Muslim and civil rights organizations,* will first hold a Friday news conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., and then a Saturday rally at Freedom Plaza. The Friday news conference will feature eyewitness testimony by several individuals who were at the sites of recent massacres of pro-democracy protesters by security forces of the military-installed Egyptian regime.
