With the Republicans meeting in Cleveland and the Democrats in Philadelphia next month, the National Press Club’s Journalism Institute will focus on covering national party conventions at the next in its series of Campaign Boot Camp programs.

Get tips from veteran journalists about how to find stories inside and outside the convention hall, and find out from the House Press Gallery staff about logistics surrounding credentials.

The program on Tuesday, May 31 [the day after Memorial Day] runs from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and is open to the public for a $10 fee, or $5 for members of the National Press Club.
