Wine Dinner

On Wednesday, December 9, 2015, from 6:30 to 9:00pm, The Fourth Estate will host a four-course meal with hors d’oeuvres and accompanying wines from recipes culled from Chef Daniel Thomas’ recently published cookbook, Recipes For A New You! Healthy Eating at its Best! The four course dinner and wine pairing will highlight Chef Thomas’ commitment to simple and healthy dishes. Cookbooks will be available for purchase and Chef Thomas will sign copies of the book as well as recount amusing anecdotes about serving meals to President Barack Obama, members of the Senate, House of Representatives and foreign dignitaries.

Chef Thomas is a Washington, DC native and trained at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Hillary Clinton has applauded Chef Thomas’ cooking, saying “Thank you for always taking care of me at the Capitol. The food is always great!” Senator Harry Reid concurred, “I am struck with Daniel’s professionalism and dedication. He demonstrates great integrity, is conscientious and committed to his profession. His work ethic and ability… is outstanding.” And because Chef Thomas exposes health eating at its best, Representative John Lewis added, “Thank you Chef Daniel for always keeping me healthy and serving wonderful delicious meals to my colleagues and [me] in Congress!”
