New Business Development Manager

We are seeking a consultative sales professional to lead our new customer acquisition efforts for our event hosting services and multimedia communication/production business. This is an individual contributor role focused on NEW customer acquisition (not account management). Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, pursuing and securing quality new customers for our event hosting services and multimedia production businesses through professional sales outreach (phone calls, email campaigns, in-person meetings & presentations, networking events other appropriate methods) to qualified prospects in the DC, MD & VA region and worldwide.

  • Developing and executing outbound marketing campaigns to generate inbound new business inquiries/opportunities.

  • Identifying and seeking out opportunities to help organizations solve pain points and achieve business goals through the NPC’s business services.

  • Structuring, negotiating and securing business agreements that provide win-win solutions for our clients and our business.

  • Achieving and exceeding established monthly, quarterly and annual sales and productivity goals

  • Logging and tracking opportunities, pipeline and sales activities using Salesforce.com

  • Working collaboratively with internal teams and departments to transition/onboard new clients

Minimum Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree a minimum of 3 years’ successful experience in an outside sales role

  • Proven track record of effective prospecting, cold-calling and managing an active meeting schedule

  • Documented success in winning new business in a competitive business climate

  • Experience working in a goal-oriented environment with revenue targets & incentives

  • Individual must be organized, self-motivated, energetic and entrepreneurial

  • Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external contacts

  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and work to set targets and deadlines
